Restraining your dog means limiting their ability to move freely for their safety or yours or to perform pet care or a veterinary procedure. Take time to choose the fitting muzzle for your dog, use restraining only when necessary for the required time. 

 Prepare your dog for restraining before you need to use it. Your dog may react negatively to a muzzle in an emergency if they are not used to it!
